config.set_env_vars()

Loads environment variables from configuration files or the environment.

config.set_env_vars()

If the ENV variable is not set, defaults to ‘development’. Loads the first .env.{ENV} (or .env) found, then fills any variable still unset from the site profile and user config (omero_screen.settings). Nothing is required at import: a missing OMERO login is reported when a connection is made.
